Built-in 1854 by Francisco Alviso, Alviso Adobe Community Park in Pleasanton is the last remaining adobe structure in California. It was built by Alviso with his son-in-law, Joseph Bosenbury (also known as Jose Dario). The house was passed down through generations until it became a museum. Alviso Adobe Community Park was finally opened to the public in 1970, where it remains today.
