Outdoor Activities

Mission Hills Park offers many outdoor activities for the community to enjoy. Mission Creek runs through the park and there are several trails that hikers can take advantage of while exploring the area. There is also a playground on site where children can play with swings, slides, monkey bars, and more!

This park is like no other! There are two playgrounds, half a basketball court, and the best part? It has a 50-foot double slide. The metal structure can be seen from miles away because of its huge height; people just don’t know what they’re looking at when you see something off in the distance. And do yourself one favor – if your child wants an adrenaline rush while playing on this type of equipment (which most kids seem to), then head over straight away or take flight across some swings up near the top where there’s plenty of area for running around before getting ready, and don’t forget about all those picnic areas with BBQs nearby either: a perfect spot.

The green playground is a bit taller than normal with lots of climbing opportunities. There are various ladders, steps, and bridges to navigate the play area that’s full of interesting features for your child including an impressive rock wall where they can practice their balance while jumping from one platform to another or trying out Hammer Man skill set by hitting different objects in front them with mallets!

The second playground is a more traditional, grass-filled space with three slides (sidewinder and double alike), a bridge that connects both sides for children’s imaginations to run wild on. There are steps leading up from the ground as well as ladders close at hand so kids can take those adventures all way down again before returning back! Alongside this fantastic equipment, one might find pirate theme face cutouts perfect for photos or rest under trees shading themselves during hot summer days.
